We are doing good and thanking God for His Great Care. Pray with us over the flooding situation in Kenya at the moment. A week ago a Dam broke its banks and killed close to 50 people in The Nakuru area and left hundreds hurt.
Many people have died across the country. I am sure you recall Nakuru city we drove through on our way to Kitale. The rains are equally heavy in our region but we are grateful no one has been killed or hurt in this area. Pray for the safety of TYC children and our families too.
Most of the toilets and sewer systems at TYC have been broken down due to heavy down pour. It is raining like three to four hours every day and other times through out the night.
Eliud and team at the TYC were estimating the cost of replacement of toilets and I believe they are in the process and hopefully they should be able to share the updates with you. We are glad no body was hurt when the toilets collapsed.
Also Mike, pray for Lois, she came home yesterday from College and has a swelling on her left leg just below the knee. The doctor we saw last evening was suggesting some operation on her but Grace didn’t seem to like the Idea. Pray as we handle this situation. When is CMC meeting? Say hello to all.
